How PYLON receives notices, removes infringing material, forwards counter-notices, and accounts for repeat infringers under §512.
Designated agent
Send takedown notices to [email protected] . Our designated DMCA agent is registered with the US Copyright Office.

What a valid notice contains (§512(c)(3))
- Your signature (physical or electronic).
- Identification of the copyrighted work.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material (title URL or id).
- Your contact info (name, address, phone, email).
- A good-faith-belief statement.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury , that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act for the copyright owner.
Our process
- Notice triggers an internal triage log entry.
- Admin review within 24 hours, business days.
- If facially valid, material is removed; creator is notified; takedown is audit-logged.
- Creator can file a counter-notice at the link included in the takedown email.
Counter-notice (§512(g))
A counter-notice requires a statement, under penalty of perjury , that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
We forward every valid counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not, within 10 business days , notify us that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the material.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, per §512(i).
